The Bell Covers

As Editor of Design for the Liberty High School newspaper, I was
responsible for redesigning our school newspaper. This was the cover I
designed for our first issue.

Typography Poster

This poster design was something I did in order to pratice text
hierarchy and making text stay clean with a textured background while still remaining readable.

Cornerstone T-Shirt

I was asked to design a shirt for a trip to a metal music festival for a youth pastor friend of mine. He asked me to make a shirt that “people who like metal music would like”. This was my solution to that challenge.

World Cup Poster Design

As practice, I took time to create mock advertisements for large
companies or events. I did this just to give myself a purpose and see if I can accomplish that purpose in a creative and effective way.

The Bell T-Shirt Design

I was asked to design the t-shirt for the newspaper staff. The challenge with this was to make a simple shirt design that incorporates the design
elements of the newspaper and more specifically the cover design.

Q&A Design

This is a mock up design I did for our school newspaper of a Q&A page. I tried to take the normal idea for these pages and make a clean and easy to read version of the cliche Q&A page. “

"Take This Job And..." Series Card

This was an advertisement I was commissioned to make by the church I attend. It was displayed on various social networking outlets to increase interest and visually represent the upcoming series.

Pro/Con Page

As Editor of Design, I was tasked to design identities for each
section. I made it my goal to present sections (like this Pro/Con story page) in a new way that stayed constant with the rest of the
publication.

Abby's Bakery Logowork

I was commissioned to design the logo and business card for an up and coming baker in the Kansas City area. These are now her
primary logos and her main source of advertisement as she begins the process of starting her bakery.

Detox Series Card

This was an advertisement for an upcoming sermon series that I was
commissioned to make by the church I currently attend. It was printed out physically and mailed to 18,000 people in the Kansas City area.

Grant Woods Flier

I was commissioned to make this flier to advertise for a seminar at a Kansas City area church who focuses on reaching outdoorsmen and women.

Mutemath Poster

I designed this poster in my own free time just as recreational practice. I wanted to challenge myself to design a simplistic poster that could be printed out and used to promote a band or be sold as merchandise.
